KENDRIYA VIDYALAYA,BNP,DEWAS

Kendriya Vidyalaya BNP Dewas celebrated Grandparents day 2009 on 12 October in the active presence of near about two hundred fifty Grandparents. The programme began after garlanding the Goddess Saraswati by the Chief guest Shri M.C. BYLAPPA
Deputy General Manager (BNP),HOD Bank Note Press Dewas & the Chairman VMC. The programme was conducted by the senior students of class V, in which the students and grandparents participated enthusiastically. The main events of the programme were a symposium, musical chair race for the grandparents while some skits, dances and other cultural programmes were also presented by the students. Everyone enjoyed the day. The Principal of the Vidyalaya welcomed the chief guest and the grandparents, vote of thanks was given by the headmaster.

PARENTS TEACHER MEETING

Parents teacher meeting was organized on 24.09.09 after completion of the II term unit test in order to discuss the performance of the slow learners.

SPECIAL CLASSES FOR X AND XII IN AUTUMN BREAK

Special classes for class X for teaching Englilsh, Maths, So.Studies and Science are being conducted on 26-09-09, 29-09-09, 30-09-09, 01-10-09 and 03-10-09. And special classes for XII for Physics, Maths, Computer science and Chemistry are being conducted on 26-09-2009, 29-09-2009, 30-09-09, 01-10-09 and 03-10-09.

CBSE MERIT CERTIFICATE

This is the utmost pleasure to describe that a student of our school ,named NIKITA BHAVSAR has secured 98 marks out of 100 in Hindi core in class XII ,recently received a merit certificate from Central board of secondary education .

SCIENCE EXHIBITION 2009-10

Kendriya Vidyalaya Dewas organised the school level Science exhibition on 28.8.2009 at 12:00 noon in Physics Lab.It was inaugurated by Shri M.C.Bylappa ,Deputy general manager BNP & HOD (BNP) & Chairman of vidyalaya management committee Dewas.

Dr Verma and Mr.Chouhan were also among the guest invited on the occasion .The theme of this exhibition was science and technology in welfare of society.

SOCIAL SCIENCE EXHIBITION 2009-10

School level Social Science Exhibition (Pradarshini)was organised on 26.8.2009.It was inaugrated by Smt.Purnima Bylappa W/o General Manager Bank Note Press Dewas.The chief guest on the ocassion wsa Mr. J.C.Gulati Ex. General Manager Bank Note Press Dewas who visited the exhibition.

Combined Surya Namaskar was conducted on 21 Jan 2009 at School Level on 9.00 Am.
Mini Sports meet on cluster level was organized on 21 Jan 2009. Many students of K.V. Ujjain, K.V. Shajapur, K.V. Dewas were participated in this meet.
Under-16 cricket meet on cluster level (indore) was organized from 5 sept to 7 sept 08 in vidyalaya, in which 16 schools participated.
Under-19 Kho-kho meet on cluster level (indore) was organized from 5 sept to 7 sept 08 in Vidyalaya, in which 6 schools participated.
Under common minimum programme session 2008-09 in order to improve primary education various activities were conducted in vidyalaya.

National Adolescene Programme- was initiated for the Session 2008-09 with parent teachers meeting. Dist. Education Officer Shri R.S. Tomar and Mrs. Anu Gupta ( of organisation Eklavya)were the guest speakers.
A Parent Teachers meeting was organised on 31.7.09 and answer sheet of I term Unit Test were shown to the Parents.

Independence Day was Celebrated in School.
International drug Eradication day was celebrated just after morning assembly in which information regarding the biological and social consequences of drug addiction and its prevention was imparted by the teachers.
An open quiz was conducted about the drug addiction .It's consequences and student's contribution for it's prevention were focused upon. An enthusiastic participation from the students was witnessed.
A drawing competition about Drug Addiction was also organized in afternoon for primary as well as secondary students in which more than 115 students actively participated.

PARENTS TEACHER MEETING

Extra classes for class X for teaching Englilsh, Maths, So.Studies, Bio and Science are being conducted on 23-12-09, 24-12-09, 25-12-09, 26-12-09, 27-12-09, 28-12-09, 29-12-09, 30-12-09, 31-12-09and 01-01-10. And Extra classes for XII for Maths, Bio, Physics and Chemistry are being conducted on 23-12-09, 24-12-09, 25-12-09, 26-12-09, 27-12-09, 28-12-09, 29-12-09, 30-12-09, 31-12-09and 01-01-10.
